The program that we received federal tax forms from has ended early in the recent round of IRS budget cuts. This year we will only receive the 1040, 1040 A, and 1040 EZ forms. We can still print the forms off of the IRS website or you can order your own forms from the IRS and have them mailed directly to you. If you order your forms this way, then instructions for those forms will automatically be included. This is where you can order your forms: http://www.irs.gov/Forms-&-Pubs/Order-Products Since ending this program will effect a significant amount of people, if you intend to have your forms mailed to you, it would probably be better to do that soon considering the other cuts that the IRS had happen to them this year.
Our Wish and Want list is now digital. Just click on Request a Book in the red bar and it will take you to the form you will need to fill out. You will need your library card number to finish the form. And, as always, you can still call us or stop by to let us know which books you would like to see added to our collection.
Storytime is each Monday at 11:00 a.m. Themes change every week and we use our new magnet boards with the stories. If you have any questions please give us a call and we will be happy to answer them.
On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month we will offer apointments for technology help. In April, those dates are April 9th and April 23rd. Call ahead for one-on-one appointments with a librarian that will start at 5:00 p.m. so no one else will be in the library. We can help with all sorts of basic questions. Help with Microsoft Office, e-readers and e-books, our own on-line catalog and how to manage your own account are just some examples.
