COMPUTERS AND WIRELESS SERVICE
The Rio Community Library has nine computer workstations that have internet access. Internet connections are provided through Firefox and Internet Explorer. All computers have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 loaded, which includes Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and several other programs.
Sound is disabled on all workstations. To listen to online content, each patron must bring a set of headphones that can plug into the workstation. The Library also sells headphones for $1.
No content may be saved on the workstations once the patron is finished working. Patrons may bring a flash drive to download documents. Flash drives may be bought at the library for $8.
A scanner is available for making digital copies. There is no charge for the use of the scanner. Check with a staff member to get the scanner set up.

PHOTOCOPIES AND PRINTING
The Library photocopier will make black-and-white photocopies for 25¢ a page, 35¢ for double-sided copies. The Library provides paper that is 8 ½ x 11. You may bring your own paper in sizes up to 11 x 17. Copies using your own paper cost 10¢ each, 20¢ for double-sided copies.
Color printing is available from the workstations. Ask a staff member for help. The cost is 50¢ per page.
The Library Staff will fax items for the public. Each fax costs $1 for the first five pages, 10¢ for each additional page. Faxes received by the library cost 25¢ per page to pick up. The fax number is 920-992-3983.
A microfilm reader/printer is available. Microfilm of The Badger Blade and Rio Journal (March 1902-February 1973) is available on site. Microfilm copies of other periodicals may be ordered from other libraries for use on the Rio microfilm reader. Printed copies are 25¢ each.
The Library can laminate flat paper items up to 8.5 x 11 inches in size. Cost varies by the size needed, ranging between 25¢ and $1.
The library meeting room is available for private and group meetings and other events. The room must be booked in advance. Cost is $5 for the first hour, $2 for each additional hour. A $20 security deposit is required, refundable if the room is left in good condition. Chairs, tables, and AV equipment is available for use in the room. Ask for details.
